The Earth is flat with a dome.
God exists.

Aliens don't exist.
Space isn't real.
Gravity doesn't exist.
Never went to the moon.
Asteroids don't exist.
UFOs are a psyop.
Nukes don't exist.
Evolution is a lie.
Germ Theory is a lie.

The world is ruled by secret societies that worship Satan. Jews/Jesuits/Freemasons/Illuminati are Gnostics and Kabbalists. Masters at deception. One satanic philosophy is inverting reality.

They make you think you live on a spinning ball.
They make you think you're just an animal.
They make you think there's a deadly virus out there.
They make you think there are gay space niggers from outer space out there.

https://www.vastspace.com/roadmap

https://edition.cnn.com/2023/05/10/world/spacex-vast-private-space-station-launch-scn/index.html

> “The Dragon team and the team and leadership (at SpaceX) really want to build a Falcon 9-based space station,” said Max Haot, Vast’s president. Haot led the aerospace company Launcher before it was acquired by Vast in February. “So we’re very, very aligned.”

https://www.space.com/vast-space-private-station-spacex-launch-2025

> "Vast is thrilled to embark on this journey of launching the world's first commercial space station, Haven-1, and its first crew, Vast-1," Vast CEO Jed McCaleb said in a press release today. "We are grateful to SpaceX for this exciting partnership that represents the first steps in Vast's long-term vision of launching much larger, artificial gravity space stations in Earth orbit and beyond."

the fact that Vast has a partnership with SpaceX (whatever that means) makes me think people at spacex have at least some confidence in Vast accomplishing something
Vasts roadmap seems pretty good at least at the start, starting with very simple test articles and the first module itself also being very simple

> The rabbis of the Talmud believed that the world was flat, and that the sun revolved around the Earth every day. There is a debate about the length of the solar year in the Talmud, and its consequences and the rare Jewish ceremony of the Blessing of the Sun (Birkat Hahammah) are discussed. The view of the talmudic rabbis is contrasted with that of the contemporary Greek astronomers. While the rabbis of the Talmud argued about the size of the flat Earth, the Greeks had determined the Earth to be a sphere, had calculated its circumference and had moved on to consider other questions.

I like subterrenes because they solve the problem of debris or water collapsing into the tunnel that is already dug: The melted rock is pushed out of the way and cools into a glass, which then forms the tunnel walls. You don't need to send in material from outside to secure the tunnel.

Space planes are fine actually and the hate they get is from the failings of the companies making them and design decisions of the space shuttle.
Take away shuttle/buran's cargo bay, move it to the top of its rocket, and what are you left with? a dragon capsule that can land on runways. The cost of the additional weight it's carrying to orbit gets made up for by the quicker and easier refurbishment than a capsule you have to fish out of the ocean.

DeSantis is actually retarded. Trump ironically understood that you can't go maximum controversy all the fucking time, you had to pull back occasionally to let people breathe so that they'd lower their guard before coming back in full force and sweeping their feet from underneath them. DeSantis doesn't. He continues to over extend himself with his decisions. He tried to do that with Disney and the board, only for Disney to add a last minute provision that completely neutered the board he set up. He tried that again in a different way, only to have a lawsuit thrown against him for political retaliation. He tried it a third time, and now Disney is pulling a billion dollars in investment from the state.

>Jeff Bezos' superyacht has a new look!
>The Amazon founder, 59, now has a wooden sculpture made in the likeness of his girlfriend Lauren Sánchez on the prow
>The sculpture can be seen on his $500-million dollar yacht named Koru — the one the couple was spotted sailing around the Spanish island Mallorca on this past Monday. The Sánchez-inspired sculpture is wearing the symbol for Koru, which is Māori for loop or coil, and is based on the spiral shape of an unfurling silver fern frond, as a necklace — a symbol that is special to the couple.
>Koru symbolizes new beginnings — which Bezos has cited before on his Instagram — and a new phase of life, positive change, personal growth, and hope for the future — one of the most important symbols of Māori traditions.

Euclid will be very cool. Imaging about half the sky at space telescope resolution. The goal is to constrain dark energy but it will also find huge numbers of high redshift quasars and bright galaxies for JWST.
Then there will be the neat combination of PLATO and ARIEL to find transiting explanets and measure spectra for them. PLATO is Kepler's successor, but it's targeting brighter stars which can actually be followed up efficiently (many Kepler stars were too faint). TESS goes very wide but it's basically useless for Earth-like planets, I think it's been a disappointment in terms of yield. PLATO should find a bunch. ARIEL will do a huge survey of exoplanet transit spectroscopy.
ESA has also selected a new fast class mission. It's exciting because doesn't typically have a line of small low-cost missions. ARRAKIHS will study the low surface brightness universe, in the visible and UV. If it's a success it might convince ESA to fund more F class missions. These missions cost ESA a measly 50 million, much smaller than NASA's explorers which have continued to increase in cost.

If you were to issue guns for space use, you would need to use materials that wouldn't off gas, you would want to use the same metal throughout to ensure even expansion due to heating. Your barrel would need to be cooled by radiating heat, maybe fluting or fins and coatings. You would also want to use a muzzle break like a barret 50, that directs gas backwards, to reduce the recoil that would otherwise move you and or your craft.

This isn't to say guns make sense for fighting in space, but it is interesting to think about how they would be different.

Other way around. All metal surfaces that make contact have to be different or they'll stick. You'd use two different metals throughout, perhaps steel and titanium.
Alternatively a high-entropy alloy might get around vacuum welding.
>cooled by radiating heat, maybe fluting or fins
Raygun aesthetic. Combined with rockets landing ass-first.

What if they made rocket motors and engine bells out of ceramics? It would be temperature resistant, and if you made it thin enough it would be lighter than metal. Pic related, the manufacturing process.

guys why is it that basically every single major modern invention can be traced back to bell labs?

Theoretically possible. Ceramic turbine blades with advanced internal air channels can be made and are used. Also turbines use ceramic coatings to reduce corrosion. I would not be surprised if this technology is being applied to rocket components, it almost certainly is in the turbopumps.

What may be holding it back for things like nozzles and throats may be the size of the components, and the lack of reworkability compared to metal components.
