I'm too retarded to understand most physics. What's a good place if I want to understand something like quantum theory in a slightly-less-braindead-than-total-layman sense. I understand that it's basically impossible to talk about these things without going into a lot of math but I think I can take it

Pbs spacetime on YouTube.os for layme but its good . I actualy did a couple of courses on quantum physics (usin resniks book) and i like pbs a lot

>> No.15428363

Good luck dude, the best description for quantum mechanics I read stated " I could teach you 10% of classical physics and you would understand 10% of it but if I taught you 10% of quantum mechanics you would understand 0% of it." From that I think that know the math behind it is how you understand it but not as part of a whole but as the sum of the system

just google youtube, plenty of sources. Pbs spacetime is a bit shitty. It went woke and got broke.

because it's really all math and if you don't know the math you just kinda can't get it

The scientific method is FORMALIZED, it's not directly what is science or how to do science, it's just a working method.

Science can be as simple as rational speculation.

It depends on how good you want the results to be...

Griffiths is good as a starting point in terms of formalisms and theory. There are several vids on YT of courses which use it as well, and so that is a plus.

If you want to cut right to the chase, watch this. Speed it up to 1.5 though, he talks slow

There's a guy on youtube who does good quantum mechanics explanations, long form content, alongside SOVL 3d jank. I'm hoping someone else knows the name cause I'm going to sleep.
