The very thought that procedural AI can emerge and consume us is insane. Intelligence is constrained to the same rules biology brute forced over a gorillion years. There's no silicon life forms from star trek or grey goo assemblers. A token analysis model cannot compute just like any other model. Academia is a fucking joke, AI academia even more so.
