• Dual-N-Back exercises (20 minutes daily).

• Moderate intensity cardio - stimulates neurogenesis and increases brain volume

All methods listed here have been shown to increase non-verbal IQ.

>Moderate intensity cardio - stimulates neurogenesis and increases brain volume
I suspicious of this one. Low intensity cardio can lower cortisol levels but higher levels of intensity will release more cortisol up to twice the bodies regular production, which after time will damage the hippocampus and impair learning. Probably why you don't see many geniuses running around super fit etc

I just threw that one in as a "why not". The effects cardio alone will have on IQ is almost certainly extremely minimal relative to the other two methods, but, preliminary research has demonstrated a few effects beneficial to cognition as a consequence of cardio.

To add, I don't think there have been any long term studies (+5yr) regarding the effects of cardio on brain structure. As of now, the one result we can all agree on is that cardio does seem to inhibit and delay age-induced cognitive decay.

But yeah, it's not really a necessity by any means if someone wants to increase their IQ, the former methods will give you the most bang for your buck.

I just wanted OP to get in shape.

1) Stop doing all drugs, including culturally sanctioned ones like caffeine, alcohol and nicotine. They ALL impact your IQ negatively.
2) Stop watching porn. 100%, not watching even 1 second of any porn, for the rest of your life. Mild erotic art is ok.
3) Start reading books. Read at least 1 book per week. Your intelligence will increase rapidly if you do this.
4) Exercise. Daily. You don't need to over-do it but you need to get that oxygen into your brain.
5) Find a challenging job where you need to constantly use higher cognitive capacities. This will boost your IQ even further.

The concept of a "fixed" IQ is outdated garbage.

But, that that's not to say a "hard cap" doesn't exist, it just means that there are ways to increase your IQ up until you reach such a threshold. I presume this threshold would be determined by your genetic makeup, but this may be an extreme oversimplification.

Forget about IQ. What you need is motivation and determination. A high IQ and no motivation is useless. If you want to learn something and you're determined to learn it then you will learn it. Inversely, there are ways in which you can decrease your IQ. We observe this phenomena in smokers and children during summer break.

Logically speaking, even if we didn't have hard data demonstrating increased IQs from certain types of cognitive training, it would be rather retarded to assume that malleability is mono-directional.

IQ is tied to the concept of working memory. We don't really know what working memory is, or why some people have more of it than others, and we haven't found any successful ways to train a person to have more of it. Spacial memory is something different, which people have been much more successful at intentionally training.

Here's the thing.
I have no idea what happened to you. I couldn't even have any reason to know.
But the fact that it was so easy to guess should make you think.
Crazy people never realize they're crazy, but it's obvious to everyone else. You should be scared of that. Terrified of it.

It's called anosognosis.
There's a blind woman out there who doesn't know she's blind. Physically cannot know it, because her brain has a lesion in just the wrong place. No matter how much you prove to her she plainly can't see what's in front of her, she'll never admit to it. She can't. Her brain can't.
Anosognosis. Some people are genuinely incapable of realizing anything is wrong with them, and they're not faking it.
Terrifying stuff.

>> No.15309756

>>15309751
I believe you. I'm sure you're asking earnestly, and you're not lying about a single thing.
The problem is not with honesty or being earnest.

It's that sometimes, for some people, the brain is made in such a way that you can suffer from something and genuinely not be able to know. It's not like people do it on purpose. Everyone hates it, but what can you do.

The problem is that anosognosia could happen to anyone. If it happened to you, you wouldn't even know. That's the scary part.

Realistically speaking, there's no known way to increase your IQ. If there were, people who found a way would have become super successful and everyone would know.

If you want to improve yourself, focus on fighting the delusions instead. Those actually lower your IQ.
You can't make a human fly, but you can cut a person's legs. Schizophrenia is cutting your legs.
You can't raise your IQ, but you can still try to not let a disease take some of your brain away from you. It's the most precious thing you have, after all.

That's what I think.

and I'm telling you, bromocriptine and other dopamine agonists will give the closest effect to straight up increasing iq as you can ask for

>motivation, attention, memory retention and creativity
it affects habits and along the same lines as you suggest, removing negative attributes, this can promote positive attributes.

a natural increase in the neurotransmitters associated with cognition (where antipsychotics literally do the opposite) is the most you can ask for before gene editing.

i've walked the line that others havent and there are methods that doctors arent even aware, or willing to share.

i agree with what you're saying but the problem is, you aren't me. you haven't seen what i've seen. and while I understand your point about anosognosia, the issue is, I have few other blindspots that would indicate such a failure of cognizance.

all I ask through all my posts, is that you join me or destroy me. I am tired of my lone delusion.

I hope you can see the greater purpose of my very schizo event. I hope that you can decipher the illusion that is reality and affect it as I believe I did. (always, always with the realisation of insanity by saying this)
