It depends on what you mean by “suicide”, when you see animals that are no longer seemingly willing to live they behave in a way that is better described as “resigned to death” rather than suicidal in the human sense. It’s obviously impossible to really look inside the head of an animal to see if they are considering throwing themselves off a building or walking in front of a predator purposefully
