I have my mothers "hard" intellectual traits and my fathers "soft" intellectual skills like creativity. My dad doesn't have very good memory or reading/general comprehension but has quite powerful creative and contemplative skills while my mother has great memory and reading/general comprehension but doesn't have my fathers creativity or his indecisiveness/contemplation. I was lucky enough to inherit the best of both.

You can already genetically modify your offspring. Look up Dr. Stephen Hsu, Dr. Julius Zhang and other. While they hide behind IVF and gene-screen talk, the truth is that you can't detect if some embryo has undergone prime editing or not. Chimeric transformations could easily be detected prior to birth and once born nobody could know.

Genetic engineering is going to be used on humans very soon to make men small (about 130cm) and super athletic and women tall (200cm or more) and super fecund.

Small men are physically superior to tall large men. They require a fraction of the resources but can shoot and kill large men at a higher probability and can perform all needed labor. They get all forms of cancer at lower rates, have faster reaction speeds, and do all of it for a fraction of the resources. Small men are superior to large men in both quality and quantity.

Tall thick women can be programmed to superovulate and release several eggs each cycle, so when impregnated they gestate small litters of 3 or 4 babies each pregnancy. They have superior fecundity.

So in this manner we will have a species which spreads exponentially even with only a single pregnancy per woman, uses fewer resources for larger populations, and which is superior I'm economic and military might.

Odd how nobody believes this to be a "risk" when producing broiler chickens. Animal husbandry has been a science for 6,000 years, and just because the humans refuse to accept this fact doesn't mean there's a legitimate need for "genetic modification". it kinda makes sense anon. they think there is a way to perfectly engineer people and if they're right then it is a moral and ethical imperative to make sure we prevent genetic diseases that can prevent people from achieving their true potential but the problem is that the system is fundamentally corrupt because every individual in the system is treated as a replaceable cog which means there can be no moral and ethical solution to genetic engineering as long as individuals are treated as economic slaves and consumers
