Secondary psychopathy. Have a care giver with a cluster b personality or psychopathy and you can develop the qualities of a psychopath just with a whole butt load of anxiety.

That kind of upbringing can give the wrong emotional weights to empathetic situations so that small and large hurts to others feel the same emotionally

Yeah, thats something Ive discovered in my research into Phenomenology, that they do but its recieved and processed differently. The typical understanding is flawed but for brevity for conversation its so much easier to just slap the common label on it and carry on instead of "akschually...[3 pages of words]".

I was born prematurely (different brain development), nearly died to oxygen loss as 1 year old (I was blue and didn't breathe for minutes) and hit my forehead (prefrontal cortex) 2x really hard.
I don't think you can become like me unless you have similar experiences as a child.

That doesn't mean you're not going to suffer from depression, embarrassment or shame. In fact, people with psychopathy/sociopathy often experience these negative feelings MORE than empaths because they're unable to properly maneuver through normal society.

In short, its not a "good" thing to be a psychopath. Don't envy them or fall for the memes.

The way your brain works is genetically determined. You may temporarily induce certain states that make it work differently but it will always return to homeostasis. The only way to permanently change the way your brain works is to damage it in some way which is difficult to do and probably won't have the effect you desire.
