What is her problem? Why does she feel entitled to criticize physicists for trying up things with the standard model as if we're getting anywhere without the necessary process of elimination? It's also a known fact that science communicators do more harm than good and are simply failures.

Speak for yourself, mortal.

Because we lose funding on inbred self-citing circlejerks who have pure fucking zero value to anyone else?

They are not mathematicians building on an inherently useful abstract discipline. They are mostly working on worthless toy models with circular "validation" which will be complete trashed.

In short, they are not even doing real physics.

She's right though. It's not scientific to just invent problems which require more and more funding simply to prove yourself wrong, only to invent an exception as to why you could still be right. It's not getting anywhere at all.
But she is annoying

She is the "Joe Rogan of science". Of course will she criticize stupid things.

She opposes all those theories with complex number fields and so on. Is that good enough for you, 4chan?

btw: I personally think we should go in a more "discrete" direction, so basically Turing machines. I am still learning physics though, so I am not actually informed enough to really say anything about that.

Enough with all the symmetry ;P

So basically, you don't have any clue what you're talking about. Nice.

Why not? Science requires money, this is an objective fact

Except she has a PHD in physics. So she dwarfs your knowledge by quite a bit.

That means almost zero these days.
>So she dwarfs your knowledge by quite a bit.
Maybe for that Anon but I caught her with a mistake, months ago, she was talking about QM I think, which is not my field of expertise, making it a double NO-GO.

Shes an "Instrumentalist" (which I do mostly respect) but its "extra safe" when giving talks explainging *whatever* in Phsyics. Always safe, never risking her reputation. So safe she knows to not venture into Theory at all because she KNOWS she gets stomped hard and fast (which is totaly fine, Im well aware Theory is...well...Theoretical.)
