Not until a better framework for machine learning is developed, the biggest issue with AI is that the engineers are trying to mimic the human brain which they don't fully understand (Cognitive science was established really early in the 1950s). I also think that a real AGI will not run on a typical Turing machine, it will be a more advanced computer architecture. My rough estimate is within the next 10-30 years.
