The US didn't achieve 3x vaccination rate instantly, nor was vaccination nearly as common during the last two waves. Its literally more likely that people got one shot, got covid months later, and survived it just the same as an unvaccinated person.

And if we start thinking about other countries numbers, its starts becoming more clear that death rates and infection rates are not reliable numbers in the slightest. That, or the vaccines dont really work.
