The thing is, you get infected with COVID even when you get vaxxed. My aunt got the vaxx and she has long COVID since January (she's basically coughing non-stop). Vaccination doesn't stop transmission, that's a fact and I don't know why some people still bring that point in discussions.

So the sole and only pro-vaxx argument that could still stand to this day is the reduction of COVID deaths in the countries that had most of its population vaccinated compared to the ones where COVID vaccination was anecdotal.

And I already said it in another thread, but you also have to take into account that China, Russia, and a lot of third world countries didn't use mRNA vaccines. Please show us compelling proof that all those countries got considerably more COVID deaths that the ones that used mRNA injections.

In any case, the push to inject mRNA vaccines into kids is suspect to say the least, since they almost don't have any risk to die or get complications because of COVID, and like I said before the vaccines don't stop transmission either.

Vaccine offers some protection, good for the elderly. Vaccine pharma companies behaved badly and never should have received blanket liability protection. Vaccine mandates were not necessary for covid, and even if they were, previous infection should qualify. Note i'm not a libertarian or antivax retard. In some cases a vaccine mandate could be justified, just that the vaccine wasnt effective enough, covid wasnt dangerous enough, and covid was endemic enough to make a vaccine mandate foolish.

That's a pretty reasonable opinion to me, except for the fact that libertarianism isn't that stupid, and is only a logical reaction to states trying to grab too much power, and abusing it like what we saw in some countries during the COVID crisis. I'm not saying it's the best solution, but it's still logical.

In my country (France), a lot of vaccines are already mandatory for kids, like hepatitis A and B or tetanus, so most people aren't culturally "antivax". The main problem was trying to force an experimental injection on most of the population, while most of us weren't at risk. I got COVID (delta) last December while being unvaccinated and it was basically a flu, and a lot of vaccinated people I know got it too with similar symptoms. So what's the point, except giving billions to Pfizer ?

And of course that subject has become the cause of a political schism, and it's interesting to note that the stance on the vaccines is the same in all western countries for every politically aligned parties. Globalists are absolutely pro mandates, while nationalists are against them. Of course, politics and science don't go along very well, especially when a lot of money is involved.

And about the 5g magnets and other conspiracy theories, I wouldn't be surprised if some of those were part of a campaign to poison the well, and associate all the people trying to contest the validity of the vaccine mandates with lunatics. Here in France, some medias present the opponents as "conspirationnistes", which immediately gives discredit to them.

All those people did a lot of harm to the scientific community. If they keep at it, it's not going to end well.
