Are you in college or high school? What kind of physics have you done and how do you know you suck?
The best thing to do in order to understand is buy a bigass textbook and do all the problems in there.

Become solid at the math and things will fall into place, go through the textbook and write down derivations and try and understand them even if your professor skip them
