I'm sure it will reveal a lot of interesting insights into consciousness, we already know that the brain makes a decision before someone consciously decides to do something, getting more insight into how this works mechanically would be useful. Also it might finally be an opening into figuring out what's going on with dreams. Could be a useful therapy tool as well, in terms of decoding & understanding things like PTSD at a deeper level, possibly even injecting an emotional state into someones brain. It might be a perfect interrogation tool if we become able to extract memories somehow

I had an interview with the CEO.
The company is complete garbage, they have no interest in creating coherent animal trials, no ethics for animal abuse, and no way to transition from animal studies to human clinical trials.
I interviewed for a position as Clinical Director, and as far as I can tell they don’t have the expertise to comply with EU/FDA regulations.
Also, a lot of their staff are all from China, specifically Fudan University. So I’d be interested to see how much of their data is being shared with the Chinese government without Neuralink even knowing about it.
