I don't see any wires connected to the magnets generating your electricity. No they just float there above the archform. Do you think it's hot steam they're sending down the solid copper line? Do you think "electricity: the hertzian waveform" is even "wired" during it's conception?

Wireless electricity? "Yes".

It works on small scales and short distances, but it's not super viable for long-range transfer unless you're using something extremely coherent like a laser. In his experiments at Colorado Springs, Tesla was never able to verify wireless transmission over distances greater than about a dozen meters.

Everything purporting to be greater distances was based on purely anecdotal and unsubstantiated claims, generally with no small amount of confirmation bias.

>The popular story that Tesla tested his death ray one night in 1908 goes something like this. In 1908, Arctic explorer Robert Peary was making the second attempt to reach the North Pole, and Tesla requested him to look out for unusual activity. On the evening of 30 June, accompanied by his associate George Scherff atop the Wardenclyffe tower, Tesla aimed his death ray towards the Arctic, to a spot west of the Peary expedition. Tesla then scanned the newspapers and sent telegrams to Peary to confirm the effects of his death ray, but heard of nothing unusual in the Arctic.

ALL YOU FAGS READ THIS INSTEAD OF ARGUING.
Here we go:
You guys need to remember that back when tesla decided to work on "wireless power", radio was barely being invented.
If I'm not mistaken continuous (sine) wave radio was yet to be invented, and the people messing wiith it were still using giant wideband pulses.
This is important because without radio, people hadn't studied how different frequencies propagate in the atmosphere and are attenuated.
So tesla was "onto something" in the sense that yes, you can do wireless power.
He was wrong about the extent to which it's viable, because he had no prior data to refer to regarding electromagnetic waves propagate in the atmosphere, and the "data" he did was some bullshit theory about a conductive layer in the atmosphere. He also claimed to use the earth as a return path, which I suppose he meant would complement his upper atmosphere based transmission.
The key thing I want you fags to remember is that tesla came up with the wardenclyffe plan around the time marconi (and others) had the first basic radio systems barely working.
I don't think he was attempting to bullshit anyone, after all the tower was his ruin, but he was simply wrong about how power transmission using waves works, ESPECIALLY the effect of the atmosphere.
He never recovered from wardenclyffe, went full schizo or full conman, and died in silly fashion.
Give him credit for the things that he actually did (3 phase AC power etc.) which is far more than enough for a meager lifetime, instead of bitching and schizoing about the things he couldn't do especially after he lost his fucking mind

He already was a crank when started the Wardenclyffe Tower. By 1895 he began the downward spiral, almost all patents after 1890s were useless.

Although "he did nothing wrong", most of the bullshit was born in the 30s and after the firsts biographies based on schizo-distorted memories were written. The compounding of schizos in early internet was the last nail in the coffin. The BS about Tesla was milder 15 years ago.

This went on until he died.
I'm just not going to really judge him for it because he obviously lost his fucking mind, if not before wardenclyffe like you said definitely after it failed.

"not attempting to bullshit anyone but stil schizo" to "fuck it feed them my schizo fantasies"

Hey, I noticed some typos in your post. Don't worry, I fixed them for you.

> short distance away, and close enough to the point of emission
It's because it's a closed cavity, there's no radiation to the open space and the energy losses are equal to the energy absorbed by the "load" (food), the walls or the magnetron itself. Without a food the amplitude would increase until the magnetron or the walls fails, in general the former fails first.

Tesla discovered that longitudinal waves can resonate with transverse waves. Since longitudinal waves have no electromagnetic fields, any energy added to an existing transverse wave by resonance with a longitudinal wave amounts to “free energy.” And since longitudinal waves do not interact with physical objects or EM fields, they can be beamed straight through the earth without any resistance. No energy is carried with the wave; instead, energy is generated directly at the distant interference site where that wave resonates with a transverse wave of the same frequency.

interesting, could this resonant effect be a hypothesis to pic related in your estimation?

also for posterity, when you mention longitudinal waves does the equation in this paper seem on target?

Seems like an experiment we can all do with a ballon, some tin foil, some AA batteries and copper wire

I’m having trouble finding studies on the speed of propagation for electrical potentials but it’s a good guess. Entanglement experiments have proven that information travels thousands of times faster than light, but that’s for an already-entangled pair. Perhaps the potentials move longitudinally through spacetime at 1.572c, while a transverse wave moves across the surface of spacetime at 1c. I’ll have to dig into this.

What I can provide though is the original theory that’s the basis for my hypothesis, the “Bohm-Aharanov Effect.”

This is a mostly non-technical analysis of use cases for Bohm-Ahranov effect, but you may find it interesting. On pg.8-9 the author states that force potentials can in some cases be regarded as having infinite velocity.

Interesting thoughts indeed, I find it quite intuitive, that, if Tesla found a longitude-transverse resonant effect in or around his natural media patents, than one may mathematically find this interaction in the Magnetic vector potential term like in Bohm-Aharonov effect.

charge density, and longitudinal waves I am quite curious too any follow up in that paper in regards too

>It will be shown in a future paper that in a system containing an undefined number of charged particles (i.e a superposition of states of different total charge), a new hermitian operator, essential an agnle variable, can be introdcued, which is conjugate to that charge density and may give a meaning to the gauge

By definition longitudinal waves necessitate physical interaction to propagate.
