Good Afternoon /sci/entists.

When I go to sleep it is like laying down. Closing eyes. Stay still about a minute. Then I wake up and it is 4-8 hours later and I am less tired.

There is no dream or event or perception of time or awareness of anything. It is just later.

How can I make dreams? I got close to having one a while ago but I can't remember anything about it or exactly when it happens.

I want to have dreams so sleep time can be spent imagining things.

I don't remember. I have never been banned for a legitimate or comprehensible reason. There is/was a /g/ janny who would frequently give me unappealable 1-3 day bans for no reason but that person seems less active lately.

I also got unarchived from Warosu which I didn't even know was possible.

One thing that always makes me have vivid, long lasting dreams is sleeping in a warm room covered in a bunch of blankets, to the point of almost sweating, or sweating. I love it because I'm warm and cozy and also because I dream l night. Try it.

I try to keep it from getting cold because then I have a problem where I go in a blanket and sweat until everything is soaked, and then freeze because it is cold and I am laying in a pool of sweat water.

It can get where I have to get out of bed entirely because bed is soaking wet.

If you have money then buy a small bottle of galantamine and huperzine A, before going to sleep for 8 hours set an alarm for the 4 hour mark, once you wake up in the middle of your sleep take either galantamine or huperzine A, then go back to sleep. You now can perfectly remember all your dreams due to the drugs not breaking down your memory recall chemicals produced by your body.

You're almost certainly dreaming, but you aren't storing your dreams into memory. You're far more likely to remember a dream if you're woken up in the middle of it. You should set an alarm so that you will wake up roughly in the middle of a REM cycle (look up the rough lengths of each sleep cycle and run the numbers). Then, immediately after the alarm wakes you, write down what you remember dreaming about, if anything. Then go back to sleep. I'd be willing to bet that by the time you wake up the next morning, you will have forgotten the dream. But you'll have a written account to jog your memory that you produced immediately after the dream was interrupted, while its memory was still fresh. Try it out if you're curious, see if it works.

I don't have any money. I don't really like thinking about or handling money because it is confusing so I never try to get it. I would rather have a meal or an item. Usually when I have money, it gets spent on books, computer equipment or a style of very old American candy that has things like a lot of fruit and nuts or a honeycomb or something. Candy peaked in America somewhere between WWI and WWII. After that it is too much refined and not enough things like fruit. Sometimes also Mexican candy because a lot of the time Mexican candy is just a nice fruit someone put chili powder on. I only remember this sensation one time. It wasn't long ago, but I can't remember exactly when. I remembered the dream some when I got up, but now I can't remember anything about contents or length. Just that something different happened. It was a different feeling than usual because when I wake up usually the first thing I think is go get a drink like a water or a shasta or something. Congratulations, anon. You either have a serious sleeping disorder or don't understand the concept of a circadian rhythm, causing your sleep to constantly be fucked up.
For the record, going to bed at random times will confuse and stress your endocrine system by virtue of having it ad-lib the production. This is the reason for your cognitive impairment, health issues, and so forth.
Keep a fucking schedule. Here's my advice as a doctor:
1.) Go to bed at a set time (before 10 PM, if possible)
2.) No artificial lights 3 hours before bedtime
3.) Get lots of light in your early awake hours
4.) Exercise
If none of these work, get checked for a sleeping disorder.

Try supplementing melatonin right before you want to sleep for a while. 1g costs roughly $3 and you'll want to take 300-500µg a night, so you most likely have enough money for more than a year's supply.
Agomelatine would be a great addition to that by agonizing the melatonin receptors raising dopamine metabolism once you wake up. Increasing dopamine metabolism to NE is probably the best thing one can do. It reduces oxidative stress and neuromelanin formation within the DA neurons by shunting metabolism away from the countless dirty metabolites, it increases wakefulness when a person is exposed to light, but it induces sleep when in dark due to the AANAT stimulation in the pineal gland. I don't know. I didn't notice this happening. A long time ago I was in a program and they tried teach me several languages and I couldn't learn any type of human language except can read Latin well enough to look in a Newton book. In German it has a word like "the". Except it is three words and they have genders and something about dative form and other really bizarre Clown Rules I can never remember.

If part of a language doesn't have information I have a hard time considering it because my goal is say information, not make a well-formed sentence from the language. It is even worse with languages like german where useless information not connected to reality is required in sentences (An inanimate object doesn't have a gender.) Why do some nouns get "der", "die" or "das"?

In this stupid Clown Language "the maid" becomes "Das Dienstmädchen". Why does it have so many syllables to say "maid" and why, if we are using a Clown Language that has gendered articles, isn't maid feminine? "Das" is genderless in one of the few spots where a gendered article might be comprehensible. Or worse "the gun" is now "Die Waffe". Why is my gun female? Why did this Clown Language make a system where I have to remember gun is female to properly talk about her? Why do I have to do this now with every noun in the Clown Language?

It would be nice if someone engineers a simpler human language where every word expresses information and none are structural. A simple international language for communicating about engineering and math and maids.

I think someone tried to make it with Toki Pona but learning Toki Pona was also incomprehensible.

haven't read the thread much but do you keep a journal or do any creative writing of the sort in any regard? if so that may help, as well as keeping the lights off when you sleep and letting your mind wander (if it doesn't keep you awake; don't think awful or dreadful thoughts if it keeps you up). maybe also listen to music before you sleep but not right before and obviously not like speed metal or something very noisy like that unless you really do enjoy it and it won't keep you up further

these are all schizo ideas from someone who dreams pretty well, vividly, and often. and when you do dream, do your best to remember it and recount it as you wake up and write it down. i don't know why but it works for me and creates more and intense dreams. i usually sleep in relatively cold rooms (i dont turn on the heat and let it get to 50f inside sometimes) and use a fan even in the winters but as a schizo i am constantly thinking and in my head 24/7 which i think helps 'fluorish creativity' for dreaming. at times my dreams feel real and sometimes when i wake up i'm unsure if i'm still in a dream or not which sounds pretty cringe but it is what it is. it also doesn't help when some dreams practically play out your daily mornings and routines but some are also very odd and bizarre but anyways
