This is exactly what I was trying to explain to this one antivaxxer dude the other day. Anti-vaxxers are all over the internet, but you run into a lot fewer of them IRL. I think it's actually because so many anti-vaxxers pretend to be pro-science and pro-vaxx in public because even they know how retarded they sound to most people, but many of them are likely faking vaccine cards and that sort of stuff. Even if it's only 1% of the US population, thats still millions of people. COVID was really one of the biggest fuck ups in human history, not just because of how many millions upon millions of people have died in the last two years, but even more so simply for the fact that all of this could have been avoided and most of these people would still be alive today were it not for anti-vaxxers and anti-maskers who refused to get vaccinate and use masks back in 2020/2021 when COVID was new and we still had a chance to contain it.

There is evidence that it is a vascular virus that affects your internal organs, and evidence that points to the more times you contract the worse the internal damage gets. There is also signs of covid induced retardation, in which is forcing people out of the workforce and making their lives much harder.
I would say it is real but I don't think the vax did anything to really stop the internal damage caused by covid, or the retardation it causes among some people.
