What would happen if instead of applying eugenics to humans directly, we first tested it on animals?
We do use it on animals/plants, but not to select for things we care about in ourselves. We could use selective breeding to select for high IQ in apes. If it works without any significant side-effect, then it might work on us too. And on top of that we might also create a class of high IQ monkey slaves.

Genetic engineering can fulfill the goals of eugenics without the selective breeding and genocide.

Humans had been doing it since neolithic. Plants and animals. There's even dog breeds selected by its intelligence.

The problem of IQ is that you dont have good feedback with animals. Also apes dont have some genes that would allow them to be really smart, so you wont get "intelligent monkeys", only "quick monkeys". Selection doesn't create new genes, you would need genetic mod and selection to speed up, but it's too expensive.

There's another problem, some retards what to give ape rights to all great apes

covertly promoting high fertility in couples with desirable characteristics (on a holistic level, not merely intelligence, or beauty, or whatever), would yield the same benefits over time, without accidentally breeding resentment or inferiority complexes in others by tagging them as unfit. nobody needs to discourage downies or hideously ugly or chronically sick people from having kids because they are at a disadvantage anyway. everyone in the middle, laissez faire.

i will add that anybody mentioning the words ‘genetic engineering’ are both moronic and dangerous and should not propagate their genes, lest their propensity towards arrogance and ignorance be passed down.

I mean, that's implying Society is functioning properly, and I would strongly, strongly agree with that sentiment.

When is this clown show going to end... For the past century, it seems like the only ones who have been winning are the midwit-sociopaths, picrel.

The argument isn't whether eugenics works or not. It indisputably does.
The argument is what does that mean for the tenets of liberalism.
