Why are scientist so disloyal and willing to do anything for money?
Total lack of conscience or are they just exceptionally selfish, shortsighted and greedy? How much money would it take to get the average scientist to tongue my anus?

It's because most of the time they're desperately looking for grants for their ideas. If US institutions wont pay, then they'll go to a place where they will get grants.
It's never about greed, it's about the desire to do what they studied hard for and want to do. Plus the belief their research will be published and so won't matter if it's in China, US or kazakhstan.

Knowing the glowies, they're probably just pretending to "sell top secret info" and meme "technology" to the Chinese to drain money from them for producing nothing but meme-headlines.
But also, who knows. Maybe they were actually getting fucked over by some (((people))) in government/military. Like, perhaps they would "officially" get a huge contract of $50Billion to do something, but the teams actually fulfilling the contract maybe only saw ~1% of that, despite doing over 99% of the work for it.

Also it says:
>At least 154 Chinese scientists who worked on government-sponsored research at the U.S.’s foremost national security laboratory over the last two decades have been recruited to do scientific work in China —
>some of which helped advance military technology that threatens American national security
1. It says they're Chinese scientists, so it's not that unheard of for them to go back to China, especially if their work is no longer needed here
2. We don't even know what exactly their roles were, or what kind of technology they allegedly "stole"
I don't know why they're surprised how everyone around the world is "mysteriously" acquiring all of this "top secret technology".
3. I'm pretty sure the 'Globalists' have already been exchanging technology with each other, regardless of any economic/political sanctions.

And you might say "Well, it's because we only took in the best and the brightest!"
Well, if we took in the "best and brightest"; then why is our country crashing further every day, while *their* people and country seem to be growing wealthier and wealthier?

I'll have to find the article later, but the other day I read that next year, they(dept of something) are proposing ~$20Million for education for those in rural country areas.
~$13Million was to go to researchers to study how the money should be allocated
~$7Million is for funding 'programs'
At least 1/2 of the $7M had to be allocated specifically for people-of-color, despite the fact Whites make up a much larger rural population, and have high levels of poverty.

To understand this look at CERN and testing the limits of the Standard Model (non-commercial).
The standard model tests have become exponentially more expensive, massive and complex, requiring cooperation of multiple countries just to prove ONE THING. And all these experiments have not yieled surprises and new insights into the subatomic world, merely failed to disprove the Standard Model. What this says is it's more a flaw of science (which isolates independent variables in isolated conditions to verify a causal relationship) which is inadequate to describe complex systems where independent variables behave differently inside versus outside the system.
Commercial science goes the same way. Experiments and discoveries can no longer be made by small labs, you need entire systems like transgenic mice (or humans) to test the impact of complicated treatment regimens. This exponentially increases the cost, time and education level to make those discoveries.
The shitstorm with the Alzheimers fraud is just a proof of this. To disproof the fraud, you needed the original transgenic mice from the originating lab, because otherwise it would take decades of genetic engineering to reinvent that wheel and test it yourself. And no university or corporation is going to fund you reinventing the wheel just to crash their stock by revealing their drug R&D was founded on fraud.

It wasn't wasted, but it was disappointing, as verifying the higgs was just the bare minimum to justify the LHC.
Also, CERN's "failure" is nothing relative to the number of failed drugs or treatments invested by Pfizer, Merck and Eli Lily over the same time period of the LHC's construction. Let alone the hilarious
Even if you make a breakthrough like Gilead Science and the HCV vaccine, it might not be the blockbuster to save your company or justify all the misses you made getting there.
>The problem is nobody want to look at REAL science. Which is done by 1 to a few people in a small lab or garage (everyone has computers at home now).
The fuck are you talking about?
People wanted to test the Azlheimer's bullshit, but the economics and time investment didn't support it. The human lifetime and the economic actors wouldn't support disproving the fraud.
What exposed the fraud was also economic - short sellers hiring an invesigation team to sniff out shit. Everything these days has to follow the money line because nobody has the personal resources to investigate on principle or for fun, and the negatives of doing so, disproving a novel discovery, increases pessemism towards the sciences as the world being "solved". Very much the case in physics where the biggest discoveries are coming from the Logan Webb telescome and not from the LHC.

>The problem is nobody want to look at REAL science. Which is done by 1 to a few people in a small lab or garage (everyone has computers at home now).
>What?
Exactly. Science isn't limited to smashing airplanes into the mountain and trying to hook millions of people permanently on drugs while not finding source and not offering a cure.

lack of conscience, arrested phycological development
conscience is something that is supposed to develop in normal humans at about age 7 or so. brain damaged people often fail to complete this phase of intellectual maturation.
