Ukraine astronomers are seeing UAPs apparently. I don't know much about this stuff but here is the paper:

The paper makes me think that it might not just be dust or anything but I don't know enough about imaging to know anything. Any thoughts? They use "colorimetric methods" to estimate the distances of these objects, is that a reliable method for estimating distances from camera images? Someone who knows something please pick this apart to know if this shit is real or not.

Their method *presumes* that the object is far away and travelling at relativistic velocities and then uses a technique they consider to be appropriate for those circumstances and - oh look, it says its far away and travelling at relativistic velocities.

so this is exactly what I thought at first but figure 21 shows that it can't be the case for at least one instance because they shoot the same object from 2 cameras 120km apart. If this is true then it's by far the most convincing piece of evidence I've seen yet. I don't know if they analyzed that object though, but what do you make of it?

there's absolutely nothing concrete to suggest that the object seen by the cameras is the same object or that the object is as far or as fast as they claim - their entire analysis is based on assuming those claims as fact and using them as a starting point

If you think about it, if they are here, they're kinda dicks.

Unless there is some version of the prime directive, which just seems like fiction, then I must assume they can cure most if not all of our ailments with their technology.
