Why can nobody produce compelling scientific evidence to support the alarmist climate change theory?

How can there be any "compelling evidence" on it, from the point of view of a layman? You either troost the experts or you don't. It's not like you can validate anything they tell you beyond surface-level plausibility.

'Compelling' doesn't need to mean scientifically bulletproof. There are more than enough idiots on the planet who find a ranting swedish teenager 'compelling', and that's much cheaper and easier to get than science.

how come one bit of supposedly compelling evidence confirms that global warming is real, but 9001 bits of evidence which confirm that global warming is a big swindle don't mean anything?

Stop posting this. The scale of the image is such that an 8" sea level change would require you to notice a half-pixel difference in the high-water mark. You'd also need to account for the difference in scale of the two images.

To be a compelling image, you'd need to resize one image to match the other, zoom in on the wall, and align both images to make the comparison clear.

Well the changes are obvious, why are personal observations and gut feelings not enough in the case of climate change when that's apparently all you need to know the truth about things like vaccines or the moon landings ?
Compelling scientific evidences wouldn't change the mind of climate change deniers.

There is good scientific evidence that vaccines are harmful. There is no scientific evidence that climate change is man made in a meaningful way.

Actually, it is, through observation. Either it gets warmer or it doesn't.
My grandma e.g. was mountaineering back in her youth and there was tons of snow and glaciers in the alps. Nowadays all of it is gone.
Pretty sure one could also talk to farmers about fertility over the decades, or look into the amount of water in a river to get an overall picture.
Not that it should matter, since most things done to "combat climate change" are retarded anyways, but meh.

For me it's an issue of politics. It's fine if we need to "make radical changes to fight climate change." But why does fighting climate change turn a blind eye to overpopulation? Europeans are a shrinking demographic, yet libtards and democrats insist on more and more immigration. From where? From the places with the HIGHEST birthrates. So they support policies that will exacerbate overpopulation everywhere else (mexico doesn't give a shit they can just keep dumping their poor onto the USA) while trying to make me feel bad if I can't afford an EV. Of course I can't afford an EV, you fuckers have suppressed labor wages through your immigration policies!

TLDR: don't piss down my back and tell me it's el nino

NTA but did you mean the good correlation between CO2 and temperatures once one accounts for a weaker Sun?

>Atmospheric CO2 is positively correlated with globally averaged surface temperatures for most of the Phanerozoic.
>The two longest-lived Phanerozoic glaciations during the Permo-Carboniferous and late Cenozoic are the only Phanerozoic intervals associated with consistently low levels of CO 2 (<500 ppm).
>The message of this study is not that atmospheric CO2 is always the dominant forcing (see Section 3.7 for an early Paleogene example). Instead, given the variety of factors that can influence global temperatures, it is striking that such a consistent pattern between CO2 and temperature emerges for many intervals of the Phanerozoic. This correspondence suggests that CO2 can explain in part the patterns of globally averaged temperatures during the Phanerozoic.

Colder temps allow nature to sequester more CO2. Warmer temps release it. It's a lagging not a leading indicator.

There is no correlation. Furthermore correlation is not causation. Furthermore mankind has not been proven to release significant volumes of co2, especially when compared to natural sources.
