Environmental review delayed the schedule. They're currently proving the 1st stage can light (aka static fires). Last I've hard, orbital test is still expected by end of this year.

Starship is still going through incremental development. SpaceX have been improving the welding, raptor engine performance, and have been building launch towers.
Elon as usual has been overly optimistic about time frames.

Yes, Starship has had some delays, some government, some technical. But SpaceX has its Falcon 9 & Heavy rockets working just fine, Falcon 9 launches & landings are routine at this point. So routine that SpaceX Starlink sats are now a majority of the active satellites in orbit.

Blue Origin was founded 2 years before SpaceX; by most estimates they have spent more than SpaceX on R&D. That they don't have a working rocket that can match the Falcon 9 is just embarrassing; that they don't an orbital rocket at all even more so, and show how poorly the people at top have been managing the company.
