I dropped out of high school at 17 and fixed my grades/neeted back and forth until 22.
Now i’m in uni but i don’t speak to anyone because i never found a social circle.

I had no friends my first three years of uni, then joined the rocket and rover clubs, as well as the dnd club. I started making friends by regularly meeting the same people, eventually got invited to club meetings, then small social events, then parties.

Then someone sent a mail on the uni networks to invite students to conferences on computing where people present papers and whatnot, everybody usually ignores these mails but i decided to give it a shot, I signed up to be one of the few students accepted to the event, and there I met even more people with who I created lasting relationships.

I also stopped playing video games as much as I used to, turns out staying alone in my room for hours did not help my case kek. I decided to treat myself even if I had nobody to hang out with, I'd go to a manga library or to the cinema alone and eventually I also made some new friends there.

Your social circle growth is exponential, the first few friends are very hard to make, but if people like you, it quickly starts to spread out.

I started uni completely alone since none of my "friends" went to the same one, I'm in the same situation.
Two years later and I've only grown more isolated, no contact except with my 3-person family. Now I'm taking a gap year due to circumstances.
