Not into Mensa, it seems.

internet IQ test 128 is probably around 105 in real life. They overinflate the stores to trick you into paying for the real test. Most people are average so you can't complain. At least you aren't retarded.

currently in school for electrical engineering, but eventually I'd like to get an MBA and work in investment banking or anything else finance related that is lucrative.

An MS in electrical engineering could also be another option.

Nowhere, intrinsically. But you certainly have potential. Be sure to apply yourself, lest you squander that potential.

Not very far. Maybe from shame to pride, and back.

You can be the smartest man in the entire world (Solomon), but without Christ, you're Solo-man.

i tested them with a few friends who already had their iq nmeasured professionally. they where somewhat accurate for peolle with high iq up to 130, after that everyone just got 145 as a result.
people with normal iq's (100-115) did get higher results.

Sociopaths usually have a lower than average iq. If anything, you’re overqualified

iq in general does not garantie sucess.
my family on my fathers side has in general a high IQ average. (people rNge from 120 to 160)
some use it to get successful, but others think they are smarter than everyone and try to trick people and the system which often results in a semi criminal career which is not very profitable.
your character also plays a role in your sucess, many high iq people tend to have issues with laziness, authority and rules. This explains why most of the high iq individuals dont earn much more than the average

Really intelligent people are not the way you describe at all.

Very intelligent people figure out the whole likeability, nepotism, machiavellianism, order of the world fast, and know how to manipulate it to get into good positions where they can leverage their intelligence.

It’s pure midwittery to cope with ”i’m lazy because the current material i am working with is boring”, or ”this midwit world doesn’t appreciate true intellect”

Pure cope, intelligent people know how the world works and how people work, and how to get both to work in their favor

>and know how to manipulate it to get into good positions where they can leverage their intelligence
if you lack the charisma and likeability you can't always just compensate it with high enough intelligence. it takes a lot of training and effort for some people, potentially even more than studying for a STEM degree

Why have IQ test at all. All you need is someone’s credit balance to prove their intelligence

Get a WAIS-IV test. If you don't max it out at 160, you shouldn't bother with math or physics. Anything over 120 is good enough to get into computer science, chemical engineering, sanitation engineering, or some such.

this test is literally a retard test more like. It has counting questions, clockwise rotation questions, pattern questions, cancellation questions, with a bit of moving right/left questions. If you answer most of them correctly, congrats you probably aren't a retard. Just one part of like 12 categories that makes up real IQ tests.

>Internet IQ test

The problem is that this encompasses a huge variety of tests, everything from meme / fake tests that are selling ads or bunk "testing resources," to the various Mensa branch practice tests, to university research projects, etc.

I've taken two tests online that I consider completely legit. First, the American Mensa practice test, which is 80 timed questions, and felt like a very fair balance to me of all the IQ testing subjects (mental mathematical computation, logic, visuospatial function, vocabulary, memory). Second, the official Pearson practice version of the Miller Analogy Test, which focuses purely on verbal IQ, and is the same in its content as the normal test, however there are extra resources / help available as you take it (you can see correct answers as you go, or get an explanation of why an answer is correct, and also you are not obligated to finish within the time limit). If you take the practice test without using those help features, you are essentially taking the normal test.

For what it's worth, the Mensa practice test gave me a result of 127 - 129 (not high enough for Mensa). But the MAT practice test gave me a very high result, 73 / 100 raw score, which is ~99th percentile verbal IQ in the general population (~95th amongst graduate education seekers.) This result was comfortably high enough for Mensa admission before they stopped accepting the MAT.

With that said, I am a lonely doofus who hasn't done anything important with his life, and in fact dropped out of school completely and was a raging drug addict for a decade. So no, IQ isn't the be all and end all of life success.

if you are like me, not far
if you aren't like me, maybe far

IQ only matters to a certain point, after that it's up to effort and disposition.
