What will happen to Elon Musk fanboys when electric cars are shown to create more issues than solve them?

Why is the EV green hoax still afloat when everyone knows it's untenable and relies on coal?

These types of threads ooze insecurity and loneliness. There's nothing wrong with the topic but the way it is presented gives away that the poster isn't really interested in the topic, he's simply bored and wants to feel like he is somehow better than people who are out in the world creating things.
There seems to be four or five of these posts here each week. They're usually on different topics but the pattern is always the same: OP trying to get people to agree with him that some public figure or project is stupid, which makes him more intelligent by proxy.

the big problem is consumption. people buy so much shit per day. and buying a new electric vehicle with gigantic batteries is mega consumption that a little energy savings can't make up for.

If the cars still function as cars then I can't imagine anyone would care all that much.
They're sold as cars before anything else. Alleged environmental benefits would just be a secondary nice to have detail.
If anything the real target for your anger should be the governments thst are making gasoline powered cars illegal, not some guy who's selling electric cars.

i can’t believe nobody is resource pulled. we don’t have much lithium in the us, nor REMs in general. this whole EV/solar push is just a front to import as much of this shot from the soil of foreign countries as we possibly can before globalism collapses or they run out

Because Elon scammed the rich leftists and kept it going with clever guilt-assuaging advertising that he and Obama/Democrats pushed.

Elon is the Chad Scammer. kek!

I heard that charging an EV uses 25 refridgerators worth of electricity, dunno if that's true. The infrastructure for that isn't there, and even may be dangerous. Musk is playing the US government like a fiddle. He's a dickhead. I guess the space stuff is cool though.

google says a fridge uses 1 or 2 kilowatt-hours per day, and the average household about 29 per day.
a tesla needs ~75 kilowatt-hours to refill.

Holy shit! No wonder nobody wants EVs.
