14774009 No.14774009 [Reply] [Original]

Do particles teleport one planck at a time in order to do motion? If they tried to move in a normal manner then Zeno's paradox would take place, and motion will not be possible.

Couldn't we somehow elevate this planck-ish teleportation and make teleportation of people and objects possible?

>> No.14774030

Yes. Look up quantum tunneling. It's useful for making certain kinds of electronics. But it only works on the atomic scale. We can't enlarge it to teleport people or anything.

Which is as correct as Mandlbaur's criticism of angular momentum, you colossal, braindead faggot

>Can you explain the process by which particles teleport?
Well, I will have to explain the creation of everything in order for you to understand.

In the beginning, there was nothing. However, 0 = Infinity + (- Infinity), so nothingness led to two opposite infinite forces (I call positive + infinity Leafian and - infinity Itaric)

Now, these forces must have had a defining attribute on which they differed. This would be(you guessed it) motion. So to move, leafian and itaric would teleport one unit at a time in opposite directions, trying nullify each other's effect. This interplay of leafian and itaric led to the creation of all universe.

Nigger, no matter how many times you say "frame of reference" it wouldn't change the fact that a particle would've have to 1/2 before 1, 1/4 before 1/2, 1/8 before 1/4 so on and so forth..

>prove
Leafian and Itaric are both perpetually teleporting building blocks of reality that move in a straight line but in opposite directions.
Leafian and Itaric can exist because they're the only somethings that could logically come out of nothingness, and thus make up our world.

Well, leafian and itaric would form an infinitely large 2-Dimensional boundary where both of them would be pushing each other away.

As the intrinsic function of leafian is to move in the direction where itaric comes from, leafian would collide, stop and due to it's inability to perform it's task it would experience pain at the most basic level.

So, parts of leafian away from the boundary would diverge from the nearest leafians that are close to the boundary, so that they can eliminate the sensation of collision and hence elimination sorrow.

Afterwards, things get more complicated and I would need to use to calculus to explain how the big bang came from this. Quarks are further made of leafians and itarics and this "sorrow" and "happiness" of leafians and itarics is the basis behind consciousness.

I would need to write an entire book for this. It's impossible to describe the creation of universe in a 4chan post.

How retarded do you have to be to count to 2 by making your counting unit half the size every time? Just count by 1, you fucking jackass. Try using a goddamn ruler or something. It's not even a real paradox, it's just a stupid word game.

Who says the Planck length is the "smallest length"? I think we just can't know a particles position with anymore accuracy than a Planck length.

The more I lurk on /sci/ the more I am becoming convinced that most of these threads are mostly bots arguing with themselves, or a samefag arguing with himself.
I should know. I have had almost entire threads where for want of intelligent and relevant posts I have just argued with myself, even chucking in insults and accusing myself of samefaging just to make it look legit.

no, it just keeps track of the trend of change while approaching it
all the lim-stuff is a song & dance to not ever use infinity itself. And it works. But always you are dealing with real numbers.
You're confusing a car's frame with the paint on it.

why would movement entail moving progressively slower? in zenos paradox they move half the remaining distance per unit of time, but in reality we aren't constantly decelerating until we reach our destination

I have a theory that a lot of /sci/ users are high school teachers. Although not a teacher myself I work in an education related field. I did a course where it was said that teachers should read social media typically used by the age groups of their students, just to get an understanding of their slang, buzz words, interests, and what they talk about. The (naive) idea is that teachers can use this to create lessons in context.

Therefore I could understand it if teachers were frequently browsing these pages. But I doubt they keep using it for the reason I mentioned. Most teachers I know get cynical and disillusioned with their career when they realize they only spend a small fraction of their time actually teaching, and of those they teach only a small fraction have the brains to retain what they are taught, and fewer still have the brains to understand anything more complicated than a sandwich.
So I suspect many posters are teachers blowing off steam after spending the day teaching retards. In the classroom they have to remain calm and professional, but here they can troll and shit on the type of undisciplined stupid assholes they have to put up with all day.

In the classroom. "No Johnny, the Earth is not flat and here is why.....". Johnny mouths off and then makes loud snoring noises.
On /sci/. "The Earth isn't flat. You fucking retarded subhuman."

Why do you and everyone assume the Planck units entail discreteness of space? It literally is just a constant associated with our limits of measurements, no? Isn't this assumption equivalent to "If I can't observe it, than it must not exist"?
