What kind of career would you call learning? I know I can't afford it, but there are so many things that I want to learn about. Currently 18, senior in High School. If I had the money, I would go to college for the rest of my life, getting Ph. D's in physics, nuclear engineering, electrical engineering, mathematics, chemistry, biology, psychology, etc.
Even though I know it is impossible, I want to learn everything about the universe. Does anyone else have this insatiable fascination for knowledge?

that is a good think

from personal experience, you should decide on a field very early in college, otherwise if fucks you later in college.

and since you are interested in worthwhile stuff, take a LOT of calculus (1, 2, 3)

I think I'm going to take nuclear engineering, because I will get to learn about high energy physics, mathematics, and electrical engineering in one 4 year program. I'll go back for my Master's too. I just wish I could learn everything...

Who is to say you can't get all of those degrees? With advances in modern medicine you might live to be hundreds of years old.

Maybe. Still, knowledge progresses faster than I can understand it.
