Science will be discarded soon for a functional intelligence model based on extrapolation from AI/brain research etc. Because the model of functional intelligence accounts for practical implementation. Having a brain model with input - function - output models is just better than the dirty disgusting scientific system used today.

Here is the twofold failure of science. It did not eradicate the bad scientists. Those who are malicious and those who are incompetent. The penalty for bad science should have been recycling into compost. Unfortunately this did not happen. Then the other failure was not turning the stupid into compost. The fact is that if you are studying QCD or the standard model (real physics) it has been demonstrated that string theory has a real connection. Just because two theories are dual to one another does not mean the simpler one is real and the more complicated one is vetoed by Popper shit. mathematically there are real connections and that opens a whole 'nother toolkit for making experimental predictions.
