It's a forum about flashlights. Oddly enough there are people obsessed about them like car nuts are obsessed about cars.

It's also infested with scum who are hilariously transparent about how tightly opinion is controlled, as well as their profiteering from the obsession.

They've basically allowed their membership to be scammed on several occasions because they were getting sponsorship money. Held illegal gambling events (buy a ticket, chance to win a flashlight), etc... Also expressing a negative opinion about any of their sponsors regardless of how valid will get you banned and your dissenting posts deleted. They're especially big on sweeping things under the rug.

From what I remember I was also surprised. I think it was an Advanced Operating Systems class(or at least that's how I would translate it), the teacher was considerably old and somehow preferred working with paper during classes. He made notes for students on his handouts with a pan with red ink.
