Ausfag and I even know engineers who struggle because everything's going to Indians. Friend of mine who got his PhD last year in physics said he applied for up to 10 jobs a week for 4 months before he got any serious interviews that went anywhere. I thought it was just about science being thrown away to Asia but now even the very Jewish degrees like accounting and finance are getting fucked too. Friend of mine with a masters in accounting also can't find work except uber. He's been searching for nearly a year.

I was a massive fuckup and dropped out of two colleges multiple times. It took me 20 years, but I got my degree in stem. After graduating, I got a 6 figure job in engineering and just bought a house and married. I'm in debt, but things are pretty good.

I'm working for a fortune 500 company and still feel like a fuckup, but literally nobody gives a fuck about my GPA or age or anything like that.

I believe that my ability to cope, and the street smarts I developed through all of this is more valuable than the degree itself.

Work ethic and character are more important and many college grads don't have that, which filters them. I encourage everyone to take a look at themselves wholistically instead of being a victim.

Dude Engineering has stagnated in all other sectors aside from IT and Software, Industrial automation and outsourcing of manufacturing since 80s has played a huge role in this too, it isn't like we are building new infrastructure, or advancing transport and Energy systems.

Because most degrees really only require a few weeks of study to master the core competencies. Yet most degrees require three years of mostly fluff and fucking around.
The Indians are aware of this and just buy fake degrees and just study what is actually needed for the job. This is particularly so for the soft degree like anything to do with accounting, social work of any nature, psychology, finance, etc. Then they buy other degrees which make them look more qualified than you.
Then there is the residual of western thought that plagues many white students. Namely that a degree permits you to apply for many jobs in a wide field. A pathway to pursuing a variety of career choices. The Indians disdain this attitude and focus solely on what a particular job requires and then purchase the qualifications for that specific job explicitly. That's why they are more successful.
