Consider an alien that follows a very odd body plan. This here is what I will call a sky watcher. It is a very long lived creature, with a telescope on its "back" that points to the stars. It is not capable of communicating with others of its species. Would it be possible for this thing to come up with grand theorys of the universe all by its self?
