I went in to a gifted program after kindergarten, it was approximately the top 2% of the school district condensed into a single class at one school. It was split classes with 1st/2nd grades in a single class, then 3/4 and 5/6. My sisters both went into it too, and I had a completely opposite experience from you. We never really got made fun of for being nerds, but lots of the parents were extremely butthurt because they wanted their kid (all parents think their kids are smarter than average etc) to be able to test in to the gifted program but it was invite only so they couldn't.

We all ended up owning all the honors classes through junior high and high school and got into all of the best colleges. I was class of 2005 and had friends go to harvard and stanford, I went full ride to our best state school and was near top of the class in engineering and like 3 people I grew up with are in med school now.

You were pretty serious here, proud even. You seem to only give these tests credibility when it is convenient, in which case all of your own credibility goes out the window.

Besides, in your original post you only questioned the accuracy of the tests, you failed to mention anything about taking it test seriously. Perhaps it should be inferred that you did not, but your excitement over your (honestly rather abysmal) score should be a clear indication of validation.

Yea, the kids in the gifted programs all went to really good schools & are doing very well for the most part. How did you guys not get made fun of? We were completely separated from our entire grade for everything but lunch and gym. That type of in group / out group shit is always going to cause tension amongst middle school kids. Maybe middle school just sucks in general and I'm just blaming the gifted bull shit. Our school ended up doing away with the program for the kids a few grades below us. They changed it so the gifted kids only had 1 or two classes apart from the normal kids and implemented an honors class kind of system. I think those kids are going to be better off for it.

Yes, it was smug. Yes, I restated that you are not a genius while pointing out your rather ironic use of the word "irregardless". There is humor in this, called irony, a point I tried to stress by using your own self-defeating comment. The message I was trying to convey was that, while you certainly are not a genius your claims to be smart are dubious as well.

>Finally you say I only give these tests credibility when convenient, when never once did I say that these tests have any credibility.
You do not have to say something directly to be correctly inferred from your other comments, I say as much when calling you out. I assumed that if you thought highly enough of these online tests that you would use their results to bolster yourself in an argument you would believe their results to be legitimate. This assumption did not come before you made the statement
>1. Suck my 133 IQ balls.
but after. Originally I was only amused by your use of the word "irregardless", which should have been where this exchange ended. However, because you clearly DO have some sort of inflated ego, a point made evident by the amount of offense you take over something so trivial, you could not admit your error and made an even bigger ass of yourself.

And now here we are, arguing over something so petty I feel embarrassed for the both of us.

I never had good grades, i have no sucess in my academic career (I'm on fourth year of Civil Engineering and i'll need at lest three more years to finish!), my love relationship has finished, and i'm trying to make business on the fields i know but with no sucess yet.

I read a lot, only things i care or like, like critical thinking, philosophy, engineering economics, scientific method, business innovation, business management, statistics, operational research, etc. But that's all, that's all i like and all i care!

I never studied, never liked to study, i don't study. I have narcolepsy, and i only diagnosed it two years ago. It was hard to me to be awake, worst if i have to study. Now i treat my disease but i still have the fucking indiscipline behaviour!

Today i know i'll never be a Phd. Ok, i don't care about it, and i got really good evidence to believe that at least i'll have money, but i'll be no intelectual at all. 'll Never be like one of the most intelligent and well intentioned people that inspired me.
