engineering is for people who want to provide for their family.

artists seldom hold stable long term relationships.

It might interest you that here in europe some of the biggest players I know attend technical schools and will in fact become engineers. Moreover I have many times heard women proclaiming they favour those gentlemen because they are manly.

Being a humanist myself I have to be content with my little pseudointellectual niche and actually, I'm quite jealous of the would-be engineers.

It saddens me that I cannot talk to my parents about the wonders of the universe and science because of their christian beliefs. I cant say anything about science to them and or talk about my major with them because arguments will ensue without doubt. It really saddens me and I know it saddens them too that I dont believe in their religion. They truly believe that I will burn in hell forever just because I dont believe in their so called loving god. What a sham religion is.
