i've been spending my free time lately trying to modify PCP in such a way that the effect of documented hysterical strength stays but the agression, hallucinations and well, overall insanity are eliminated.
Problem is, just like natural hysterical strength PCP is tied to adrenaline, and the very nature of a biochemically modified adrenal overload are said side-effects.
Now, i CAN get past this, mainly with feel-good serotonin boosters, but, let's be honest, i'm a coward and completely unwilling to risk going nuclear if it fails.
anyone on /sci/ in london willing to be a guinea pig for a monetary reward?

well, the main idea is that naturally occuring hysterical strength is nearly identical to PCP strength, but needs stress hormones to activate and is extremely short-lived. PCP modification could give a several-hour long duration and focus if i can eliminate the side-effects

naturally, you can't confuse lift strength with nervous discharge of energy. you could theoretically lift a car, but your skeletal structure would probably crack. but flesh-punches and throws would work, plus a great rush

PCP produces hysteria (delerium) so won't the strength gains be tied to the hallucinations?

>> No.1373072

>>1373052
the strength is tied to the adrenaline, like i said, which is a response to a chemical overload PCP makes in the brain.
i'm trying to control the overload with additional drugs so that huge amounts of adrenaline are produced over a long period of time without hallucinations and exreme(although it will be high) agression

Why try to correct it with more drugs? Can't one merely look at the chemical structure of PCP and form a new structure that can antagonize the adrenaline receptors without the other effects?

why not just use pure epinephrine?

basically the same question, so:the PCP structure is perfect because it can sustain an adrenal charge in the body for so long. long is the key word here.
i don't want a higher burnout factor on the charge or the body

>>1373106
like i said in a previous post, you're right, you try to lift a ton, you could, but the muscles would tear, spine break, etc.-this is more of trying to find the exact treshold-it would still magnify strength by at least 300%

and you want to test this on humans?
ever heard of lab rats?

OP doesn't realize that the reason that the reason those bursts of superhuman energy are short lived because they are extremely hard on your body. If you were constantly doing this, you'd pass out.

i already mentioned the burnout factor. the body can sustain my controlled adrenal surge for a few hours, but it shouldn't be used regularly. side-effects would include extreme tireness, hunger, and if you have a weak heart/heart condition possibly cardiac arrest. i'm trying to find a way to minimize all this

>> No.1373192

and what exactly would be the purpose of this, other than winning bar fights?

>> No.1373204

>>1373192
well, other than that i find it very interesting, it would still be a drug-sort of like a super-amphetamine, if you will
you would actually feel the adrenal surge.

always a place for drugs in the world

yes, exactly. see, the strength is obvously the main thing, but the actual effects would also include infinite stamina(while "charged"), increased pain tolerance, better reaction time, clear thinking, decreased fear, etc.
