We acknowleged we can't JUST buy an island like that, so first we have to start a company in either solar, water distillation or nanotechnology. Something upcoming that would be huge, you see.
We want to create a better alternative because, you know, the world is getting shittier by the day.

Since the oil spill in the gulf there has been a shitload of chemicals, other than oil, that have been evaporating and raining down. This is now contaminating the water supply in those parts of the US. We want to start up a small business selling/renting water filtration systems at a very cheap price that can effectively clean the water by distillation. once we gain a bit of funds we will branch into the newer 'cheap' solar panels and sell those as well. Eventually as we get stronger we branch into more technologies such as nanotechnology and so on.
The goal is to become a fairly powerful corporation (not huge like BP but big enough) and then we start seriously saving up pennies to purchase some land. Some candidates are Northwestern coastal Australia, Tasmania, some island in the Pacific, or even Western Antarctica or Patagonian Islands. After which we start constructing the basic foundations such as power plants, sewers, hydroponic farm buildings and so on.
