Here's what doesn't make sense

1. It was first recorded as a cluster of atypical pneumonia. And was generally found amongst people living together in small quarters.

2. Initial classification suggested it was a reoccurrence of SARs but failed to match the sequence well enough, suggesting a unique classification

3. Shortly after isolates were captured they were destroyed in a fire before their submittal for the proposed PCR testing standard.

4. When a simulated sequence was used instead for the PCR standard nearly all testing varieties produced a higher than normal false positive.

5. To date no isolate has been capture that fully matches the proposed simulated sequence. (The closest have been in the 90s and nearly all of those could only produce minor complications)
