Genetards BTFO, scientists admit Lysenko was right

Very interesting, currently reading. I too, found troubling the notion DNA->Protein->?->Living creature

but if genes don't determine everything, how can our non-eugenicist completely benevolent genetic counselling and planned parenthood organizations prevent people from begetting undesirable children.

the answer was always something in between genes determine everything vs humans are tabula rosa.

genes do not encode structures, but rather they encode rules, which makes WAY more sense if you think about it, because rules are far more scalable than structures. in fact, rules work at all scales.

huh. wouldn’t this more dynamic, emergent model better explain and predict rapid evolution than the notion of purely chance alterations in genetics?

I realized all this during my bachelor's in biotech, it's quite obvious when you just look at the basic principles of DNA, cellular differentiation and so on. People are stuck in the computer mindset where dna "programs" the organism, like computer code underlies every single action a program takes and exists "outside" of the reality of a program. It's just dumb.

Genes are a very small part most of the music is playing somewhere else. And it’s often much deeper than common conceptions of environment. Heredity is even deeper.

Russians will starve again while the rest of us continue developing GMOs to have more food than we know what to do with.

>> No.12801322

>>12801301
GMOs have failed their promise of producing more food. Really the only successful green revolution was mainstreaming synthetic fertilizer, pesticide and mechanization. GMOs only promise meme gains like "vitamin A for malnourished kids". Like nigga if rice is all you have to eat the problem runs deeper than vitamin A.

These millions of dead russians and chinese were basically peasants evicted from their land, that had nothing to do with agricultural techniques. The thing with Lysenko and his followers is they tried to grow crops unsuited to their local soils and climate, or did ecological crimes like drying the aral sea to grow cotton. Of course the peasants knew better how to grow.
