I have seen too many times acute gastritis and excess acid and chronic gastritis in the mexican american population. They take prilosec for symptoms but it doesnt seem to be enough. I have to tell them they have to do a complete 180 on their diet and they hve to eat like white people. so no onions no tomatoes no chilis no soda no ketchup no vinegar no hot spices, no excess oil, no cheetos, no chips with seasoning, no oranges no lemons.
whats weird i dont think the rates for chronic gastritis are as high in mexico, i think the diet there is more "stomach friendly" because they dont eat as much spiced up shit as the american counterparts. i think the mexicans eat more rice and beans than up here. but becuase this is america there is excess so you can have a jalapeno with every bean burrito. and then u can go get fast food. i think the combination with american and mexican diet is causing this chronic gastritis in mexican american population.

need advice on stress management

nursoid here i mean no harm. i need help. i am taking a mixed chem class of biochem, ochem, and genchem. and i feel like i am at my mental limit. i have never worked this hard my in my entire life than i have these last few months. and my prof just keeps adding more. 18 hours of homework a week. no class time to talk with prof. he is very caring and really great though. he gives 30 min tutoring sessions for free any day of the week. but even these arent enough. i guess i just need advice on how to handle the stress? i will finish a tutoring session then the same day start on the next chapter and be stuck at the beginning and have to wait another 4 days for help. what can i do to help with the stress. i would rather die than fail these classes. without this i have no future. i have no other skills at all. and i want to do everything i can do not have to retake them and delay my life another 6 months. i am at my limit and would appreciate any advice on how to handle this. sorry for the blog post
