4/ you can speculate that it was a singularity formed by a previous universe, ie the universe contracts and expand regularly.

There are some things we do know. Whatever it was wasn't limited by space or time, fundamental forces, speed of light, conservation laws or any of that, also it could create universes which for some reason it did at least once.

Well, don't think of the Big Bang as an explosion, consider it as an EXPANSION (which it really is), there was no explosion, but an expansion = the galaxies are moving away from each other, this has been proven recently by science.
