Does anyone else ever wonder about what there was before the big bang? It kind of seems ominous to me, because we don’t actually know what there was before it. People always talk about how we’re replaceable and meaningless in the grand scheme of the universe, but how do we know that the universe itself isn’t replaceable, that one day the big bang will go off again and our universe will be destroyed, most likely replaced with a new one? Are there any remnants of things before the big bang in our universe?

1/ there is no we, stop saying there is a we when there is no empirical proof for this

2/scientific realism is debunked. For instance if you have faith in scientific realism, you have faith in some incorporeal symmetry group living outside the universe and telling all the matter in the universe behaves

3/ the usual meaning of the singularity is that the narrative of scientists stop being valid (whatever that means in science)

4/ you can speculate that it was a singularity formed by a previous universe, ie the universe contracts and expand regularly.

we live in a time frame that only exists within our "big bang"
outside of that is infinite eternity where we probably can't exist. stop worrying about it

There are some things we do know. Whatever it was wasn't limited by space or time, fundamental forces, speed of light, conservation laws or any of that, also it could create universes which for some reason it did at least once.

Well, don't think of the Big Bang as an explosion, consider it as an EXPANSION (which it really is), there was no explosion, but an expansion = the galaxies are moving away from each other, this has been proven recently by science.

Time and matter didn't exist so nothing. Try to visualize nothingness.

I believe that there was a universe prior to ours, recalling Roger Penrose's theories. "this universe is not the first nor will it be the last".

The big Bang is meme. This Universe is just the endproduct of a black hole and every black hole in our universe produces other universes that produce suns, which create black holes which create universes and so on..

What did they mean by this? Is it the Big Bang Catastrophe?

All the protons and electrons (Baryons) in the universe were confined to a relatively small space. Photons were also bouncing around inside this space and these are the photons we see today as the CMB

You literally don’t know what you’re talking about. There is no evidence for this whatsoever.
