I'm 31, male, went to the doctor for a physical on the 2nd and didn't get taken seriously, they didn't even listen to all the problems I was complaining about. They weighed me while fully-dressed, checked my blood pressure, breathing and at least took blood for tests, but didn't give me any results until just now, when I called asking for it. They basically just said "your testosterone is fine, but your blood lipids are a bit high" and that was it. Getting health insurance feels like a complete waste of money because I was there for urinary/bladder and sexual problems and they basically just said my insurance won't cover a prostate exam and that I should cut back on caffeine. I'd have more respect if the doctor just looked at me and said "lose weight" at least that would have resembled advice.

The one of the reasons I applied to medicine is because I wanted to be an artist. I love art and I felt that the money provided by being a physician would help give me more time to be an artist since I am good enough with money that $100k+ per year would allow me to retire by 50 and I could spend the next 20-30 years just indulging in art.
