Here, let me offer this schizo theory to explain the real motive behind this "decolonize maths". This theory applies to many other apparent absurdities we see these days.

Its actually the opposite of what it appears. Its actually part of an extreme right wing Nazi strategy to take over the world. This is how it works:

White civilization is already in decline. As whites go extinct so does civilization in those countries. The less whites the less innovation, science progress, education. Construction and maintenance of infrastructure declines. Agricultural yields decline. And so on.

If this happens slowly, over many generations, there is total white extinction and western countries become brown 3rd world shitholes.

The only way to prevent this is, although it seems counter intuitive, is to accelerate collapse in those western countries which still have sizeable white populations, and where some conservative ideologies still exist. Sudden collapse results in political instability, leading towards civil wars and balkanization. The emergence of right wing white ethnostates then stand a real chance of emerging and consolidating their position. Following this, over a long time, they reconquer much of the valuable territory and strategic reserves lost, with a policy of expelling all those without an overwhelmingly white heritage. Eventually they reemerge as the dominant world states. Just like as if the German Nazis had won WW2.

Therefore writers of articles like OP posted are actually undercover extreme right wing Nazi terrorists who are secretly planning to achieve their wicked plans of world domination by accelerating collapse.

The entire upper administration of that program was Black and female, and they heavily pushed the program to "under represented minorities".
