Why aren't there government mandates requiring triple masking in public if the science suggests it's more effective at reducing the spread of COVID-19?

I've trained myself to hold my breath for 2 minutes at a time, sometimes 3. So I do this most of the day when I pass or am within 10' of another human being. I went to the grocery and probably only breathed a total of 4 out of 25 minutes. Masks are great an all but just like, stop breathing and you're basically immune.

Ideally, if you don't have a respirator, you'd want a decent surgical mask, and then maybe a neck gaiter or form fitting cloth mask that will seal the surgical mask to the face. Even better, try not get trapped in confined spaces with a bunch of people so aerosols aren't much of a danger.

The white house (Trump) forced them to say that because Trump refused to use defense production act to make more masks. Why did he refuse? Dunno, he did use it to force meat companies to continue making bacon. Seriously, the meat industry is more important than masks to the previous administration.

REMINDER
The Trump administration wanted everyone to get the virus!!!

This is why Trump held super spreader rallies.
This is why they downplayed the virus.
This is why they told you not to wear a mask.
This is why they reopened too soon and improperly.
This is why they're telling you not to get vaccinated.
This is why they suppressed data on how wide spread the virus was, even from our own health officials.
This is why people at CDC were fired.
This is why those remaining at CDC were threatened with being fired if they didn't lie about the virus.

They wanted you to get sick or die and drag this pandemic on for as long as possible.
Also coincidentally, during this pandemic billionaires are making more money than they ever have.
The longer it goes on for, the more money they make. The poor are being squeezed for all the money they have before being discarded as sick and diseased husks.

Trump took a tour of one in Arizona.
But he was warned in January by the CDC that they didn't have enough masks and they needed to use defense production act. The official white house reply to the CDC was they would not enact defense production. Instead they were instructing the CDC to tell everyone not to use masks in order to "save them for people who really needed them like doctors" and that "the masks don't protect you so you don't bother with them." As they were saying this, the white house created a national stockpile just for them and only them. CDC personnel insisted this was a terrible idea, and at least 1 person was fired over it. There was a lawsuit over the legality of that firing, saying it was politically motivated.

China did a lot more then just locking down everything, namely they meticulously tracked peoples whereabouts and contacts and could effectively quarantine people in mass. Oddly enough contact tracing should be pretty easy with modern tech, but trust western govs to fuck that up. Even South Korea was able to mount a quick response to the spread and only got fucked by a few super spreader events, and they're still doing better than most western nations while not being able to implement a lockdown. Biggest fuck up in the west wasn't the mask debacle (there's still no reliable data of surgical masks being able to limit the spread) but just completely failing to gather the data tat would be needed to implement a modern strategy to deal with a pandemic. It's really not difficult, it's easy to show their effectiveness in a controlled scenario like they did with lab monkeys, but if you have an actual pandemic and actual people using them in the field, you do actually need data to show when and where people get infected, and whether or not masks play a role in these scenarios. No, again, that's extrapolating without due proof. Mode of infection for covid seems aerosols not droplets, what you say just assumes a lot of things not tested by empirical data, the mode of transmission can vary, unless you have reliable data to when, where and how infection occur, you're just guessing from experience. How high is the viral load necessary to allow transmission among the average population? How high does it have to be for droplets and how high for aerosol? How much aerosol accumulates in which spaces? How much of a factor does transmission through the occular mucous membrane play? We don't know, sure the mask won't hurt, but we should know how effective our measurements are, otherwise policy is just dictated by a bunch of retards with an MD in virology giving their best bets on what should work. The 2 new strains came out after the MRNA vaccine and I read the research of the 95% efficacy and the creators were surprised. And CDC was willing to risk 50%. Efficacy.
