My ancestors were Northern European and Jews, so it's pretty self evident to me that regardless of IQ you lack the mental hardware required to dominate, organize, and manage others. IQ tests dont mean anything. They mostly mimic school tests, its all reading comprehension and geometry. They were used as admission tests to elementary schools in 19th century french public schools, later on psychologists pseuds grifters sold them to the general public as a general intelligence test.
So yeah, if you are tired you get a low score, or if you dont care because more important thing to do you get a low score. You can get a high score next time, its not scientific and it doesnt matter. Practicing for IQ tests is not cheating in the same way that studying for a school tests its not cheating.

I think for most people it comes down to the word "slave" and all that negative connotation there is to it. You even started your post with "Being a literal slave" as if that on its own was an argument.
But when you actually look at all the relevant data there are, such as life expectancy of slaves being on par with western Europe, literacy rates of 20% which Africa achieved in 1950. Or that slaves worked 300 hours a year less than free white workers, or that slaves were slightly taller than whites which indicates that their nutrition intake was better. And of course the various overblown narratives such as rapes of female slaves( which was minuscule), breaking up families (even though black family was more intact during slavery than it is now) you realize there is nothing much to it. This isn't to say it's good or ideal. BUT being a negro slave was not a bad place to be in in the global context of the time.

Really the only reason why people assume that slavery was some horrible evil is partly due to abolitionist propaganda and the sort of mysticism that was constructed around it over the years.

Having an IQ of 145 would mean that you're five SD to the right of the average. That is a tiny portion of the African population. Taking a random sample and finding a guy with an IQ has a probability of.000003. That's tiny. It's not zero. But it's extremely rare. Extremely rare things can happen and those things happening does not change anything related to average, distribution, or anything else along those lines.

This article seems to be more about slavery in Caribbean and South America. I was talking exclusively about the slavery US where life expectancy of slaves was the same as in Western Europe. Yes, it was few years lower then free whites but that is also true today. Lower African life expectancy is probably due to biological reasons and not some kind of oppression.

The figures come from 1962 study and the data on slave mortality are calculated from 1850 census.

I would like to know what source they have for this claim especially when they later talk about undernourishment. This is unlikely because only 18% of slaves reported that their food was inadequate and because slaves were taller than free whites. And also because it wold not make sense from the perspective of slave owners. If their slaves were not getting enough food, they would probably refuse to work more so than they did usually.
