How is it scientifically possible for a person to look like this despite not having enough to eat?

Depends what they're eating.

There are 24 hours in a day. If she feeds for 23 of them, her statement is still true.

It’s not. Calories in, calories out. Someone of that size has to eat at least 4kcal a day.

They eat cheap processed food. You could instead buy bulk rice/lentils/potatoes/beans/veggies/flour and make healthy food for cheap but thats not in American diet.

A banana and a spoonful of mayo have the same amount of calories. Cheap, calorie dense crap with no real nutritional value will do that to you.

That's a fucking liberal meme. If you eat a lot of those, you are not poor.

As if "two jobs" is harder than "one job". Fuck off.

What do you think this magical "nutritional value" is?

There are no junk food. There is just TOO MUCH food, funded by free money from mommy government.

Food stamps literally kill millions of Americans. This lady soon.

It's not magical, it's micronutrients, which are required for metabolic processes. A diet high in energy (macronutrients/calories) but lacking in micronutrients will lead to problems.

>None of those poor people have any deficiency of nutrients.
The majority of people today are hypothyroid. They even adjusted the acceptable blood levels due to this. Many people have NAFLD, which is also essentially an issue of inadequate choline and b vitamins to export the fatty acids from the liver.

>> No.12530814

>>12530799
And to add to this, the average body temperature has fallen a full degree, another example of hypothyroidism and failing metabolisms.

Give them unlimited "healthy food" of your choosing and see what happens. Stop finding excuses for fatties. They don't eat too much because they are instinctively seeking to balance "micronutrients".

Why is rampant hypothyroidism and NAFLD an excuse? It's simply a fact.

I said nothing about wealth and diet, I was simply pointing out the idiocy of >>12530700. Nutritional value isn't some magical thing, micronutrients are very important, and a lot of issues could be corrected with more nutritious diets.

>> No.12530937

>>12530921
A lot of issues could be corrected if people ate their goddamn vegetables, but those don't release dopamine like modern food designed with salt, fat and sugar.

>> No.12530967

I don't disagree. Decent diets can be had on a budget, and without much effort, but I think there's a lot of parents passing on shitty eating habits to their kids, who grow up and pass on those same habits to their children. My mom always prepared wonderful meals when I was a kid. I remember being jealous of my friends who frequently ate fast food like McDonald's. The occasional fat food was a treat for me, but now as an adult I can't stand it and prefer preparing my own simple meals.
