Time is a concept of moments comming after one another in your characteristic reference frame. It is completely made up by man in order to sort and seperate things happening around oneself. Yes time "exists" even without humans but a cat doesnt care when a minute passes, only humans do.

Basically like the 3D space which is also a completely man made reference frame to classify were stuff happens and noone can show you a 3D object either because your vision is only 2D and will always be 2D (thats why optical illusions work so well). It is always your brain projecting things similar to holograms.

Time is completely subject to energy levels that dictate rate of causality in any given thermodynamic system. There is no set time. We experience time in a completely subjective manner based on the timing of a neuron firing that acts as a steady interval. Not unlike a computers internal clock.
All assumptions about speed affecting time should be instead thought of as the total energy of a system.
