How fuck are we from climate change? The way I see it, there are already too much green house gasses in the atmosphere. So regardless of what we do now, in the coming decades or centuries billions will die from starvation. Is this accurate?

we're pretty fucked. with 7.5e9+ people on the planet, and our built in short term optimization tendencies, it is impossible to address climate change. governments are needed to lead people on large scales. i have very little faith in humanity doing something about its destructive habits until most people are directly affected, which is a really shitty time to start doing something.

i wish people would limit themselves to 2 kids per woman. that would solve all our problems
