His questions to the Dave Favor pilot about aircraft were child-like and naïve. I assumed his breadth of knowledge was totally restricted to computer science, but everyone tells me he's a brainlet in those subjects too.

I saw Lex Fridman at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

It forces the guests to speak in more clear terms so that his child brain can consume the information successfully.
