How I stop being a fucking idiot?

I only really got into school around age 12 due to weird-ass circumstances and I was able to become okayish (if a bit behind) in most areas, but totally failed math and science. I can barely even divide. I find math and physics in specific very interesting, but due to not knowing shit it may as well be magic. Where do I learn this shit? Where do I even start?

Are there any online resources for your local government or library system? If you google your home town, city, county or region's name with the word library, does whatever is local to you have a website?

There is a library around here, yeah. And I know "read a fucking book" is generally sound advice, but I just have no clue where to start. Concepts are often referenced that I just don't get it all. I really want to know how to START. I really just want to have a basic understanding of math and science, maybe to a high school level or something. I'm tired of being a fucking moron.

If you talk to the library staff instead of thinking it's just a storage facility for books, they can give you general advice, book recommendations, website recommendations and contact information for people who work in adult education.

Start going veeeery slow. You can't just take on algebra while you can barely do arithmetic. Try to solve problems and watch lots of videos on videos on how to do stuff. Don't feel bad about yourself, you'll eventually come to terms with math. It's just a matter of patience and not trying to rush anything.

I forgot to say: go through the conventional syllabus. See what your country's syllabus is for math since elementary school, and make sure you understand every bit of the things you're studying before you move on. You'd feel very bad if you got BTFO by stuff like algebra and linear systems because you have trouble with division and multiplication operations.
