It would seem that religion would be outside the domain of logic and scientific inquiry in the first place.

Consider an advanced computer of near infinite processing capacity asked to analyze the universe and search for patterns and correlations and draw conclusions from this.

The computer would show many things, but it wouldn't be able to determine the meaning of life or how or why everything came to be. It would simply say "I don't know" in computer terms. Even if you accept the big bang, what banged and why?
