The reason why they have no political power is because political parties don't care about the country. They only care about power and money. Hence the clintons. Most scientists know absolutely fuck all outside of their specific field. They're deluded into thinking they are all knowing geniuses because the rest of society rims them because they don't know what these scientists do and therefore ascribe to it a mystical property.

The best leaders are unfortunately artists and visionary thinkers who are not bound by scientific dogma. Aristotle was a grumpy fuck whereas Alexander was simply Great.

Being rich and famous is determined by two factors:
1. whether you are born into a rich and famous family
2. your looks

Intelligence is not on that list. That's why the dumbest people (e.g. Hollywood actors, musicians) are millionaires while you as a scientist are working your slave job in a lab for low wage.
