what's heavier:
a kilogram of steel?
or a kilogram of feathers?

>> No.11836742

>>11836738
They're both equally heavy, but steel has a higher density so you need less to reach a kilogram.

>> No.11836745

>>11836738
Feathers because in a quantum state they can act more than x5 their size if Schrodinger's cat is taking a shit.

What is heavier? An isotope or a orange? Trick question. Not many people can answer this.

>> No.11836759

>>11836742
he never said what configuration the steel and feathers are in.

the feathers could be compressed down to almost achieving nuclear fusion, where they would weigh kilograms per cubic cm.

meanwhile the steel could be a bundle of wire that is nanometers thick and around 0000.1 mg per cubic cm.

the isotope because orange is just a color composed of photons which are massless.

What is steel? What is a feather? What is weight?Define it in C#. Is it some sort of array?

what the fuck is "a" orange?. you fags need to start providing code. preferably language agnostic.

Here is a better question, because there is an unambiguous answer:

What's heavier? An ounce of diamond or an ounce of gold?

>> No.11837035

>>11836960
I presume your point is that troy ounces are larger than avoirdupois ounces, and gold is measured in troy ounces when it isn't measured in grams. This falls apart, because diamonds are not customarily measured in ounces at all, but rather carats, so you can't just apply avoirdupois ounces to them.
And if you meant fluid ounces, you would have specified them. Or the feline once called "ounce".

tldr: an ounce of gold, but only by flawed reasoning.

Hey, you got it! Detecting the "flawed reasoning" is part of the trick question. Didn't expect an answer that early.
It was supposed to confuse because carat for diamonds (weight) has a different meaning than carat for gold (purity) as well.

If you used a superior language like Java, you could have an array factory create steel and feathers for you.
